Arriving to FIAP
By air
Orly Airport (ORY) is about 20 minutes south of Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is about 40 minutes northeast. To get from these airports to the FIAP Jean Monnet, you may proceed as follows:
From Charles de Gaulle Airport:
- Depending on your Terminal of arrival (1 or 2), you may walk to the RER (train) station or you may need to take a free bus shuttle.
- Buy an RER ticket to Paris-section-urbaine (metro ticket included).
- Take the RER B and get off at “Denfert-Rochereau” station.
- Walk for about 9 mins
From ORLY Airport:
- Buy an OrlyBus ticket & get off at “Denfert-Rochereau” station.
- Walk for about 9 mins
By train
Paris is also served by six train stations situated in the centre of the capital, among which:
- Gare du Nord, from Belgium, the Netherlands and UK
- Gare de l’Est, from Germany and beyond
- Gare de Lyon, from Switzerland, Italy, and Spain
From these, you can take a metro or one of the taxis parked in front of every station.
Transport in Paris area
Even though there are many ways to travel in Paris including taxis, buses and even by foot; one convenient way to quickly reach all destinations is the Metro. There are 14 metro lines crossing Paris in every direction, which are complemented by Local trains (named “RER”) to access the suburban area.
